How to Change DNS smartfren

Amigozzz.. Are you smartfren Modem User? If so, Maybe There is amongst you who want to replace the control DNS and not know how. Okay, I'll explain the steps to replace Your DNS smartfren.

Here are step by step how to change the DNS smartfren on CDMA modem:

1. connect Modem with a USB port on your computer or notebook.

2. Run  default modem applications.

3. Log In to the Profile Settings section (which contains the username and password for the operator).

4. Select the connection smartfren and proceed by pressing the Edit button.

5. In the Profile settings, select Advanced

6. Continue with the section DNS control and fill your liking. If you use Google's DNS and OpenDNS, enter the first DNS address 208.67.222.222 and 8.8.8.8 in the DNS to two.

 

7. Finally, click OK and do the Dial button on your internet connection.

It's finished, this way you can change the DNS using the DNS smartfren whatever you want. If you want to know what settings you are using has been successful, go to command prompt and type "ipconfig / all" at the exit window. You'll look like below.

In addition to using both DNS above, you are also using other DNS such as OpenDNS of course (208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220) or use Google's DNS only (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4) or use another DNS.
