How To Add A Simple Search Box To Your Blog

There are a few of my friends who ask how to make the search box on the blog.? they've been trying to find information about it. however, all they get is incompatible with their blogs. and they are frustrated. Every blog should include a search feature.Adding a search feature will make your reader happy and it is easy to do Therefore, if among my friends there who do not know how to create a search box, you can use These simple instructions  how to add one to your blog

Follow these simple instructions:

1. Log into your Blogger.com account.

2. Click the Layout tab from your blog Dashboard.

3. Click Page Elements.

4. Click Add a Gadget above the section you want to put your search box in.

5. Click the plus sign next to HTML/Javascript.

6. Type Search this site (or whatever you want) in the Title box or leave it blank.

7. Copy and paste this HTML code in the text area.

Note:

*you can change the size of the search box by replacing the red number as you wish.

*To center the search box add <center> before <form… and </center> after </form>.

8. Click Save.

9. Click Preview.

10. You may have to drag the search gadget into a new area until you get it positioned where you want it to show on the blog
